Avery brings over a decade of experience to his partnership with the firm as a litigator having tried dozens of cases with great results, including multimillion dollar verdicts. Avery will not hesitate to take your case to trial if it is the right decision, and brings a wealth of knowledge to any personal injury case. He primarily handles commercial trucking, automobile collisions, wrongful death, and premises liability cases.

Prior to joining the firm, Avery worked at some of the largest personal injury law firms in the state of Florida and has obtained tens of millions of dollars for his past clients and taken on various leadership roles mentoring younger lawyers. He was selected by Super Lawyers as a rising star in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Before taking on personal injury matters, Avery worked as a criminal defense attorney defending clients accused of various misdemeanor and felony charges and upholding their constitutional rights having obtained numerous favorable verdicts on behalf of indigent clients.

Avery is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and in Federal Court in the Southern District of Florida. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was awarded the John F. Evans memorial scholarship for his litigation skills, preceded by his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Cornell University where he majored in Hospitality Management. While obtaining his undergraduate degree, he also played varsity football for the Big Red as a tight end and fullback.
